The Penny & Sage Salon team brings an organized, reassuring, high- touch experience with top of the line skills and products to provide looks that last from the first look to the last dance. This is one of the biggest days of your life, and we don't take that lightly. You are more than just a booking here... you're our bride!

A member from our team will reach out to you within 1-3 business days of submitting our form with availability, contracts, pricing, and deposit information to secure your date. Once your deposit is paid and the paperwork is signed your spot is secured!
We will schedule your bridal preview to try your looks, fine-tune details, discuss any wants, needs, and concerns as well as run through and build your custom timeline so you are stress free and confident for your big day!
Well be on site or in salon early to set up and ready to greet you on your wedding morning. Relax, unwind, and enjoy every moment of your day while we handle the schedule, touch-ups, and every last detail.
Wedding Policies
BOOKING & RESERVATIONS:
Wedding dates are reserved only after a signed Bridal Agreement & a non- refundable retainer are received.
RETAINER & PAYMENTS:
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date and will be applied towards your total.
The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding day to ensure a stress free wedding day unless stated otherwise in your agreement.
MINIMUMS ( ON-LOCATION VS IN-SALON ):
On-location services require a minimum number of services and/or minimum spend due to travel and time blocked off. Minimums vary by date and start time.
In-salon bridal services may be booked with smaller parties depending on availability.
Private In-salon bridal services are available but also require minimums as we close down the salon for you and your party for a more intimate experience.
BRIDAL TRIAL & PREVIEW APPOINTMENTS:
Trials are highly recommended for the bride.
Trials are booked separately and are subject to availability.
Please bring inspiration photos and any hair extensions, veil, or accessories you plan to wear.
FINAL HEADCOUNT & SERVICE SELECTION:
A final count of services (bride & party) is due 30 days prior to the date.
After the final count deadline, services may not be removed. If someone cancels the reserved time is still charged. Any add ons to the party will be subject to additional fees and will be on a case by case basis based on availability and time frame restrictions.
WEDDING DAY TIMELINE:
We will create a recommended schedule for you based on your ceremony time, photo timing, and number of services as well as number of artists needed.
The client is responsible for ensuring everyone is present, ready, and on time for their scheduled slot.
Late arrivals may result in shortened services to keep the day on track, and full service charges still apply.
TRAVEL ( IF ON-LOCATION ):
Travel is available based on date and artist availability.
A travel fee applies and may include mileage, tolls, parking, and travel time.
For early start times, an additional early call fee may apply.
A safe, legal parking option must be available at the getting ready location.
GETTING READY REQUIREMENTS ( ON-LOCATION )
To keep everything smooth and photo - ready please provide:
A clean well-lit space, A table/counter space near an outlet, enough chairs for clients receiving services, A calm environment with minimal interruptions.
Please let us know if any of these are not available as soon as possible.
HAIR PREP:
Hair should be clean, dry, and detangled unless we provide different instructions for your hair type.
If hair is wet, excessively oily, or heavily product-loaded, additional time/fees may apply or the style may not hold as intended.
MAKEUP PREP:
Skin should be clean and moisturized (No heavy oils right before application)
Please disclose allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions in advance so we can plan accordingly.
EXTENSIONS & ACCESSORIES:
If you plan to wear extensions, we recommend arranging them in advance so we can color match and ensure they are photo ready.
Please have all hair accessories/veil available the morning of and at your trial if applicable.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS:
The retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Reschedules are subject to availability. If we are booked/unavailable for the new date, it is treated as a cancellation.
Cancellations within 30 days may be subject to additional fees due to time reserved and lost booking opportunities.
ILLNESS, EMERGENCIES, FORCE MAJEURE:
If a team member becomes ill or an emergency occurs, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a replacement artist. If a replacement cannot be secured, liability is limited to a refund of payments made (excluding any non-refundable third party costs, if applicable)
Events outside our control (severe weather, road closures, venue restrictions, etc.) may require timeline adjustments.
SATISFACTION & EXPECTATIONS:
We'll always do our best to match your inspiration while customizing to your hair/skin type and what you will wear all day.
Inspiration photos are helpful, but exact replication isn't guaranteed- our goal is a version that looks amazing on you.
GRATUITY:
Gratuity is appreciated but never required. If you'd like it included in your invoice, please let us know and we can add it.
